WHAT IS NDA 2021 EXAM?
NDA is one of the most sought defence entrance exam in India. It is a national level exam conducted by UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) twice in a year. The exam is conducted for the admission in Army, Navy and Air force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Courses (INAC).
The exam is conducted in two stage – written test and SSB interview. Around four lakhs aspirant appear for the exam and out of which only 6,000 candidates are selected for SSB interview. UPSC prepare a list selected candidate who obtain minimum qualifying marks in written and are called for SSB interview

NDA exam 2021 Eligibility
For NDA exam 2021 the aspirant need to attain certain educational as well as physical eligibility criteria.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION OF NDA 2021
The aspirant should check the education qualification because it is different for different academics.
Navy, Air force and Navy Academy of NDA
The aspirant should qualify their class 12th or HSC exam under the 10+2 exam pattern which should be conducted by state education board.
Army wings of NDA
The candidate should pass the class 12th or equivalent exam from any board or university.
AGE LIMIT
The aspirant should not be born before 2 june 2002 and not after 1 jan 2005 for NDA II.
The candidate should not be born after 1 june 2005 and not before 2 june 2001 are eligible for NDA I.
The birth date would be calculated according to the matriculation or secondary school leaving certificate.
Application Form
As we all know UPSC conducts the NDA exam twice in a year. The notification of the application form NDA II 2021 will be tentatively be released from June 9 2021 to June 29 2021 and can be access on official website.

HOW TO APPLY ONLINE?
- Visit the official website and click on ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATION OF UPSC.
Click on “click here part I “ read the instruction carefully.
- On page 1 fill all the detail such as name, gender, date of birth, parents name, nationality etc. and click on continue.
- On page 2 select the number from 1 to 4 or mark 0 if you do not want to give any preference. If those who are from sanik/ military school or son of JCO/NCO/ other rank officer must fill the page 3 and page 4.
- Pay the application fees as per your choice.
- Select the examination center and upload photograph and signature.
- Download the application form and take a print copy for future reference.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD?
- Visit the official website of UPSC.
- A link is provided there to download admit card of NDA I , “CLICK ON GIVEN LINK”.
- Now enter necessary detail like application number/ roll number, password and captcha code.
- Click on submit button to download your admit card.
- Your admit card has been downloaded successfully

Selection process
It is divided into two different stage
- Written exam
- SSB interview
- The complete recruitment process is finalized based on the marks scored out of 900 in both the stage collectively.
- After the declaration of the result, the candidate who qualified the exam will have to register themselves at joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks for the SSB interview. Advertisement

- After the completion of SSB Interview stage 2, the final merit list is published by UPSC.
FINAL SELECTION
Candidate are finally selected for admission to Army, Navy, Air force wings of NDA AND INAC based on their performance in written exam and SSB interview. The allocation will be done as per the number of vacancies subjected to candidate eligibility, medical fitness and merit-cum-preference.

Following are the few tips to secure good score in exam.
- Before preparing for the exam the aspirant must have clear and detailed information regarding exam pattern, types of question and subject.
- If you want to secure good marks in mathematics then you should have strong command over – algebra, trigonometry, matrices, determinant, calculus etc..
- The GAT consist of multiple choice question and are mainly from general science, geography, history and current affairs etc which you can answer very easily if you revise your class 7 to 10 portion of these subject.
- Revise thoroughly the section you have finished already.
- Do not forget to solve previous year question and try to give mock test on a daily basis.
