About Medhashree Scholarship
Medhashree Scholarship is the new scholarship scheme introduced by CM Mamta Banerjee for the students of West Bengal. The main focus of this scholarship is to provide monetary benefits to students belonging to minority communities.
A total of 67 projects were inaugurated, and more than 91 projects were launched for the benefit of people living in West Bengal to provide them with different opportunities. Scholarship benefits were provided to the student under the Medhashree scholarship program.

Objective Of Medhashree Scholarship
The primary objective of this scholarship is to help and support students from the economically weaker section of society. A few days back, on Thursday, CM Mamta Banerjee announced the Madashree Scholarship Program and said in her speech that the Central government stopped providing scholarships to students a long time ago, so she started this scholarship program for the students in West Bengal.

- Only OBC candidates from West Bengal are eligible for this scholarship.
Scholarship Benefits
Under the Medhashree Scholarship Program, selected student will be awarded a scholarship of 800 rupees per month to cover the financial expenses of their studies.
