About Mahindra Finance Saksham Scholarship

The Mahindra Finance Saksham Scholarship for Drivers Children is a program launched by Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services Limited (MMFSL) to provide financial support to the children of commercial vehicle drivers who wish to pursue higher education.

Under this initiative, eligible candidates can receive a scholarship of up to Rs. 20,000

one-time fixed assistance to cover their tuition fees, accommodation, and other educational expenses.

The program also offers career guidance and mentorship opportunities to help students make informed decisions about their future.

Who is eligible for the Mahindra Finance Saksham Scholarship 2024?

To be eligible for the Mahindra Saksham Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• The scholarship is open to students from Class 1 to PG level in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Telangana. Children or family members of Mahindra Finance & Buddy4Study are not eligible.

 The eligibility criteria for each group are as follows:-

For Class 1-8 Students:

For Class 9-12 Students:

• Must be studying in Classes 9 to 12.
• Must have secured 60% and above marks in their previous class.
• One of the parents should be a driver of light motor vehicles or small commercial vehicles, such as taxis, jeeps, cars, delivery vans, etc.
• Annual family income should not exceed INR 4,00,000/- from all sources.

For Graduate Students:

• Must be studying in any year of their graduation courses (both general and professional).
• Must have secured 60% and above marks in their previous class.
• One of the parents should be a driver of light motor vehicles or small commercial vehicles, such as taxis, jeeps, cars, delivery vans, etc.
• Annual family income should not exceed INR 4,00,000/- from all sources.

For Postgraduate Students:

• Must be studying in any year of their postgraduation course (both general and professional).
• Must have secured 60% and above marks in their previous class.
• One of the parents should be a driver of light motor vehicles or small commercial vehicles, such as taxis, jeeps, cars, delivery vans, etc.
• Annual family income should not exceed INR 4,00,000/- from all sources.

Note: Maximum two scholarships will be awarded per family.

Scholarship benefits of Mahindra finance Saksham Scholarship

• For students of class 1-8- Rs. 5000 for 1 year
• For students of class 9 and 10 – Rs. 8000 for 1 year
• For students of class 11 and 12- Rs. 10,000 for 1 year
• For students of graduation- Rs. 15,000 for 1 year
• For students of Post-graduation- Rs. 20,000 for 1 year

Key Documents required are

• Marksheets of previous examinations.
• Photo identity proof like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN card, etc.
• Family income proof like Form 16A, Income certificate, salary slips etc.
• Admission proof like bonafide certificate, fee receipts, admission letter or institution identity card.
• Bank account details of applicant
• Commercial driving license (if no commercial driving license is possessed then Contract copy/ income proof/employee id card can be provided.)
• Address Proof like Domicile Certificate/telephone bill etc.
• Photograph of applicant.

How to apply for the Mahindra Saksham Scholarship 2024?

The application process for the Mahindra finance Saksham Scholarship is simple and can be completed online. Candidates can visit the official Mahindra website to access the application form, which includes details about their academic qualifications, family background, and financial status.
