Kotak Mahindra Group companies announced a new scholarship (Kotak Kanya Scholarship ) for Girls students studying in the first year of graduation and pursuing professional graduates courses like Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Designing, Specialised Commerce, Finance, and Computer courses, etc… in any recognized institute ( NAAC/NBA/UGC accredited ) in India.

About Kotak Kanya Scholarship

Kotak Education Foundation – Kotak Kanya Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious girls students from the underprivileged section of our society and help them continue and complete their higher education in recognized institutes of  India after passing the 12th standard.

Under Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023, the girls students who are studying in the first year of graduation and pursuing professional graduates courses like Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Designing, Specialised Commerce, Finance, and Computer courses, etc… in any recognized institute ( NAAC/NBA/UGC accredited ) in India. Selected candidates will get scholarships up to INR 1.5 lakh per year to cover their academic expenses, including tuition fees, hostel fees, internet, laptop, books, and stationery till the completion of graduation degree. 

About Kotak Education Foundation

Kotak Education Foundation was established on 14th January 2007 with a mission to deal with urban poverty through education & livelihood initiatives. KEF’s scholarship for meritorious students includes financial assistance, mentoring, and training sessions to assist the 10th pass, complete 12th, and graduation. Further, school dropouts are provided support to rise above the poverty level through skilling and livelihood programs. KEF is functioning with 140 plus schools, serving over 1,500 teachers and about one lakh students.

Eligibility Criteria For Kotak Kanya Scholarship

• This scholarship is only for girls Students of India.
• Applicant must have been admitted in the first year of graduation and pursuing professional graduates courses like Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Designing, Specialised Commerce, Finance, and Computer courses, etc… in any recognized institute ( NAAC/NBA/UGC accredited ) in India
• Applicant must have scored a minimum of 75% or equivalent CPGA in the 12th Board Exam.
• Applicant’s family annual income must be less than Rs 3 lakh.
• Applicants whose family members are working in  Kotak Mahindra Group companies are not eligible for this scholarship.

Benefits Of Kotak Kanya Scholarship

Selected candidates will be given scholarships up to INR 1.5 lakh per year to cover their academic expenses, including tuition fees, hostel fees, internet, laptop, books, and stationery till the completion of graduation degree. 

 

Document Required For Kotak Kanya Scholarship

• Marksheet of the previous classes (12th board exam).
• A government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card/voter identity card/driving license/PAN card) 
• Current year admission proof (fee receipt/admission letter/institution identity card/bonfite certificate).
• Copy of latest CLAT or any other Law entrance exam results if any.
• Bank account details of the applicant (or parent)
• Income proof (Income certificate) 
• Photograph

Last Date of Application For Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023

The last date to apply for Kotak Kanya Scholarship is 30th September 2023. So make sure to apply it before to avoid last time rush.
